Micellar water is a multi use cleansing solution that helps to clean the skin, remove make up and draw out impurities without over-drying the skin.
Micellar water or make-up remover should be the first step in your daily skin care routine to make sure that all dirt that your skin accumulates throughout a day is thoroughly removed from the surface of your skin. Micellar water is made of purified water and micelles (tiny balls of cleansing oil molecules). Micelles group together and attract dirt and oil, so they are able to simultaneously remove make-up, clean, and tone the skin without drying it out.
Micellar water is a great daily cleansing product, however it is not able to remove heavy foundations and waterproof eyeliner and mascara. So you will need to use separate makeup remover to remove heavier makeup. The proper way of using micellar water is wiping your skin with a cotton ball soaked in micellar water, don’t just splash micellar water on your face, it won’t be as effective. You can also replace your face wash with micellar water if your skin gets irritated by facial wash.
